A Student's View

The Centre of Excellence for Industrial Liaison has allowed me to acquire and improve skills that would be useful in any career, ranging from answering the phone effectively to organising meetings. Each intern works on various skills that they think are a point of weakness. Allowing us to gain these needed skills in a place that encourage us to try again.

To many interns the phone was a scary thing to do, but after exposing them to a few calls with the CEIL staff they find it easier to answer external calls.
